Where those propecies and observations our classmates made at
graduation accurate? Who knows. They were in no particular order,
perhaps as prophecies should be.

(Thanks to Nick dewolfe and Dave Furtney for making the prophecies
available.)
OTTAWA HILLS CLASS GRADUATION PROPHECY - 1959
We hope you Seniors won't be hurt at what we've said of you, For what we all have prophesied may not at all come true. Where each life will truly end, we cannot even guess, But honestly we wish one and all a life of success. Even though Danny Kinneman may not be in school, Diana Smith will claim that he is in her pool. The Student Council and Bruce Brown always got along fine, For Sherryle Burkle was not far behind. Tell us, Mike Duiven, you seem to know everything, Did Jack Sprat really lick the platter clean? John Fehsenfeld who was the captain of our swimming team, he failed to let his mates let off steam. A Fisher we have but Carmen her name, Let's wish her good luck in "The Mating Game." Our hero Dicky Friberg failed to finish his last game, Because of a rival who made his leg go lame. Wherever Evan Ginsburg may be, even in moments of despair, He'11 always find a scarf or rabbit to pull from the air. Joan Byerly and her dogs have won many a prize, Cups, trophies, medals all a different size. We can never forget Bruce Byle and his dancing of the seven veils, But with that lop-sided look all could tell he was a male. Dave Carpenter will have a band of high renown, Marching by with wild attire, but with a pleasant sound. Shirley Darteen took to the bottle knowing its dangers, With yellow hair now, anyone would mistake her for a stranger. Brave Jackie Dygert stands beside her door, And bandages young soldiers as they come home from war. Wherever Delmar Fast is, a kleenex is near by, After every blow there is a relief of sigh. His scooter Alan Field will have no more, Even though his new car will leave him poor. Dave Bruinsma known to some as Paco by fate, Will always come to session room late. A journalism student Pat Burger was she, But in her senior year much too high was her fee. On a good hunting day Bruce Drenton can be found, Scouting for fox, rabbit, and bear all around. Carol Dreyer who wears her clothes much too snug, Does nothing but pull, fight, and tug. Sue Fausett we hope will develop her voice stronger, So the echo of a word can be heard longer. Dan Gantos and his voice will always be heard, For anyone to mistake it would be absurd. Donna Gillhespy and her mate will always be, Living a life of serene eternity. While Judy Haveman walks down the hall, Tom Wood will be beckoning to her every call. Sharlene Heagle played the part of an Indian for fun, For she needed her debut in "Annie Get Your Gun."
