Hi Barb, funny you should ask this question. I was looking at the 1958
book and she is listed and there is a picture of her so it had to be
junior high grades. Let me know if you want me to bring the book up in
July. My gosh your picture is in there on many pages!!!!

For some reason, I am remembering a Mrs. Goudzward, but I'm not sure
whether it was an elementary school connection, or perhaps junior high.?
The gut feeling I have, though, is that I liked her a lot.

Sally, I do remember you and Miss VanHouten. I loved her. I was trying
to
remember name of first grade teacher,Mrs. Blackwell? I clearly have
memories of
Dick and Jane readers and Mrs. Blackwell smacking a kid named Ronnie
Haas on the
knuckles with a ruler 'cause he couldn't read ( or thinking of it now,
perhaps
he was just being bad). I sat next to him and, quite frankly, BOTH of
them
terrified me. Mrs. Goudzward does not ring a bell. So fun to "hear"
from you.
I don't want to scare anybody but I'm getting ready to hit the memory
trail for
the high school years. Also, just to compete with Kamel ( I liked his
picture
much better) I may have to send another shot with me being hugged by a
handsome
fellow. Monette
