Some other Oakdale teachers are Kindergarten-Miss Catell?, 2nd grade was supposed to be Mrs Fox who was paralyzed in an accident and returned for a visit in a wheelchair. If I remember right, she & her husband went over a mountain side in Colorado pulling a trailer. Not sure if her husband lived. I can't remember who took her place. Third grade, there was Mrs Bachelor who taught us nothing, so they got rid of her and replaced her with Miss Thomas who I think was bipolar and hated kids. Fifth grade was Miss Marr who taught us we had to memorize our times tables - there was no other way to learn. I think she was right. That's all I remember.
