When we were kids in elementary school, the GR public library (Ryerson,
BTW) operated three bookmobiles to make sure we children had the
opportunity
to read for pleasure. Each bookmobile had a name; what were they?

The first thing that came to mine was the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria.
But, then remembering Grand Rapids, it might have been the Father, the Son
and the Holey Ghost.

I do remember crusing the block in front of the liabrary, the fights on the
lawn of Creston, Romona Park, and Olin Lake. I also remember The Glass
Hut, and Kewpies with olive bergers, but Big Boys was very different.
DiTrapani's Plymouth, and your Chevy. I had so many cars they all blended
together, and the way I kept them that was a literal description.

Was that really us?
