On the subject of getting drunk I admit that I remember going to an alley behind a small store and whoever it was that worked there would pass beer out to us. (stealing?) Then we'd head out to the big lake. Cueny ( and I think Harry or Gaskin or someone) were masters at opening a quart beer with their teeth. This was in the days before designated drivers and before screw off caps. Some of us were a wild bunch back then.....I myself led "the pure life" of course and was only an observer. ( HA!)
