Yes it was Cook's. A few years back my older brother Dick put up a new
building for Cook's at the Southwest corner of Eastern & 44th St. The owner
died several years back and my brother bought the business from the family
and he and my sister in law ran it for a couple of years and then sold the
business. The new owners did not keep up the payments and now my brother is
attempting to sell the building. Originally it was down the hill on
Eastern..
