Let me tell you how I feel about birthdays. After having two of my
sisters die at the young age 56 - one of breast cancer and the other of a
heart attack, I am most grateful for each and every birthday I have. I
consider them a gift from God and like with any gift, I receive it with
thanks. (I know my sisters sure would have liked to have more birthdays).
As far age my age, I've never tried to hide it and have never had any
qualms about telling it (truthfully) to anyone who has ever asked how old I
am. All that to say I'm 67 now. :)
