Hello everyone
Diana Smith here. Did I send this to the entire group? Did I follow Jim Thomas's instructions correctly?

As we approach the reunion, I have a few fairly unimportant thoughts to share. First, I have looked thru my '59 Legend (which I am bringing with me) and also checked out the photos on line. Try as I might, I still remember most of you as on the day we graduated, in spite of having seen recent photos. I still picture Harry Rosenzweig with curly black hair. Of course my now-white hair was once black too. Second, I had no idea how much fun (and mischief) all the boys had untill I read your posts. Those of us who lived far from school, and those of us with steady boyfriends (no, I never did marry him) were really out of the loop. What a dud I must have been. Third, my heart goes out to you, Barb Frost, and I hope your daughter is doing well. I have a fond memory of shopping with you downtown, probably in the 8th grade or so. I thought you were so cool. Fourth, Dave Gaskin, remember to ask me wht you did that opened a whole new world to me. Hint, it has to do
with food. Fifth, I am grateful for the ongoing contacts and friendships I have kept up with over the years with Karen Greenwood, who I wish lived closer, Susie Clemens (who I see fairly often b/c we live near one another), Karen Carpenter, Annie Archer. I look forward to catching up with the rest of you. Sixth, please forgive me in advance when I don't reconize you. Seventh, to save time, (sort of like Evan Ginsburg's idea, I am married to my 3rd and final husband, I went to law school late and have been practicing since age 40, and like many of you I have kids and grandkids. I am so very fortunate to still have my mother, at 95 and in GR, so I will also be visiting her. I live summers in the Blue Ridge Mountains of N. Georgia and winters in Key West, which is the home my heart prefers. Eighth, I only have a week to lose 20 pounds, so I guess you will probably see me as I am today and have been for many years. Oh well.
I am sure we are all wondering what we will be doing in a room full of "old people." Since we were all born mostly in 1941 (a few in '40 & '42) I guess there is no escaping the plain facts. I look forward to seeing all of you, renewing old frienships, and being embarrassed about who I don't recognize. See you soon.
