Hi Phil,
Glad you added "and for the great country we....live in." My mom and
dad were born in the Netherlands, and my dad lived in both Holland and
Germany before coming to America. Since I was little, I can still hear him
saying in his heavy Dutch accent (which he had no desire to get rid of),
"Shalley, dis is de besht county in da vorldt." I believed him then...and I
still believe it now. However, we just gotta pray maybe more than ever
before, me thinks, for the future (if not survival) of the United States of
America in accordance with the democratic and Christian principles upon
which our nation was founded.
Looking forward to seeing you and all the rest of the gang in about a
week now...with great thankfulness to God for the opportunity.
