What do you mean, treated you as an equal? After the reunion, I don't think
I'm an equal. I've never done magic, I've never shown dogs, I've never
practiced law. You've always been an equal!

I appreciate that, it was fun. I would be pleased to bring some equipment
the next time. I spent a few hours today with my aunt, and she taught me a
new card trick, and she made me teach her one she has questioned me about
for years. Since she is 95 I revealed it to her.
I have given some thought to the last few days, (it is always dangerous
when I think) and determined if nothing else, I came out realizing that
there
is a lot of life left. After I turned 65 I began to wonder if I should
keep practicing law, or if I should do stuff like eat at the Sizzler, go
into
the ring to show dogs, or have cheese on my french fries. You know, all
that stuff old people shouldn't do. I can retire tomorrow, if I die by
Friday.
After seeing all those my age, and seeing how vital and strong they seemed;
and after listening to the brightness and enthusiasm shown by so many, I
now, more than ever, understand that life is just a few steps closer to the
Big Dirt Nap, but there is a lot of living to do. Can you tell I just saw
By By Birdie again?
I would like to thank everyone who treated me as an equal, and actually
made me realize that we are all here, we are all healthy, happy and proud to
be who we are, and what we are. It was so good to see so many, and those
of
my age with so much joy.
We should all be thankful for each other, I know I am.
OK, I admit it. Now I want to go home and sleep for a month.
