Ditto on that!? Even though I was not a half-year student, I did have
her for a class.? The elementary school thing didn't quite ring the
bell, but now that you're talking about the 7th grade, I do remember
now.? Thanks for that memory.

By the way, someone was talking about their computer going awry; if any
of you have noticed that my e-mails contain a lot of question marks, I
don't know why that's happening.? I have checked before sending them
out, and they don't contain question marks when I'm composing them
except when I'm asking a question.? So, please try and treat them like
they're not there (except when I'm asking a question).

For Sally Ann Brand and Monette Holmes--Mildred Goudzwaard taught the
7th
grade at OHHS; George Bell and I, inter alia, were half-year students
and
were assigned to her class when we came from grade school during winter

semester. Sally, were you a half-year student too? Maybe that's why
many
classmates don't remember her. She was a great teacher, at least in my

opinion.

Sally, I do remember you and Miss VanHouten. I loved her. I was
trying
to remember name of first grade teacher,Mrs. Blackwell? I clearly have

memories of Dick and Jane readers and Mrs. Blackwell smacking a kid
named
Ronnie Haas on the knuckles with a ruler 'cause he couldn't read ( or
thinking
of it now, perhaps he was just being bad). I sat next to him and, quite

frankly, BOTH of them terrified me. Mrs. Goudzward does not ring a
bell. So
fun to "hear" from you. I don't want to scare anybody but I'm getting
ready
to hit the memory trail for the high school years. Also, just to
compete
with Kamel ( I liked his picture much better) I may have to send
another
shot with me being hugged by a handsome fellow. Monette
