Hi Barb, yes, times changes nearly everything, but particularly sad when some of your fondest childhood memories go with the changes - very much like the high school.

Hey Bob, Barb Frost here.? That is so hard to believe about Alexander Hamilton.?
I don't have much occasion to drive by that school anymore?because I now live in
the Southwest side in Wyoming-Grandville area, but for whatever reason, I did a
few weeks ago. My two youngest daughters both attended there, and I couldn't
wait to tell them how much larger the school is than when they attended in the
80's.? Then I heard on the news the other night that Alexander Hamilton is one
of the elementary schools they are now going to close.? How sad is that?

Here's a post from Bob Allen that bounced for some reason:

Several of us attended grade schools where 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th
grades were in one room and 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th were in another.
Each room was taught by a single teacher. First it was Red Brick
school on the corner of Breton Road and 28th and later Alexander
Hamilton on the corner of Breton Road and 32nd.
