I took algebra from his, twice as a matter of fact, and only passed the second time because I helped make his totem pole.? I can't remember who it was I worked with on that venture - HELP!

I remember Dave Newton, our senior class advisor. This little Dutch boy
was scared to death of him. He was very concerned what I was going to do
after graduation since I told him I had NO plans. He went so far as to
call my parents in late fall of 1959 to find what I was doing after
graduation. My parents told me that he was relieved that I had decided to
join the Navy.
