The shoe store in Burton Heights had one of those things too.? I used to play with it all the time and still have ten toes.

Never was any damned good at yo yo's either. I sure do remember those hand
carved ones, wish I had one now. Does anyone remember the x-ray machine to
measure feet at Herpolsheimers (sp) or Wurzburgs sp)? It was a Buster Brown
Shoes ad thing I think. It's amazing that we all survived considering our being
used as guineu pigs for flouride ( I, unfortunately was in the control group
that didn't get it), shots given at school, the barrels of apples ( ooo, those
rotten ones at the bottom) and then "regular x-rays on our feet. But hey, we
had GREAT junk food. Those chili dogs were to die for! Would love one now.
