Hi all:
GlenHaven Manor, a senior residence, now sits on the site of the old yellow
project buildings off Kalamazoo Ave. Those housing units didn't exist very
long. Sometime between first grade and fifth at Alger, the half-year grade
had several classmates that lived in the Projects. Sybil Jones was one of
them. Sybil was in my class, but her family left when the Projects were
closed, and she attended another grade school. Later, she attended Ottawa
Hills with us again. Years ago, she was living in LA but I don't know where
she is now.
Glad to hear that everyone had such a good time at the reunion!
Connie Schoolmaster Owston
